    How can Indian industry participate in this situation?
    There are infinite opportunities!

    The GIBC Hannover is a regional organisation promoting Indo-German cooperation and setting up business of Indian companies in Germany, providing guidelines and support to do business with continental Europe / Germany.

    As a part of this initiative we invited to a colloquium cum dinner on “Indo-German Business Relations” introducing you to the topic “Germany - the Gateway to Europe”. The program addressed the opportunities and challenges, when entering the European market and gave advice for successful strategy. It lasted for about one and a half  hours followed by a dinner.

  • The 11th high tech edition of INDIASOFT was visited by IT buyers from Latin America, Africa, CIS, Asean, North America, Europe, Japan, Middle East, Japan, Korea, etc. INDIASOFT 2011 was definitely a truly B2B landmark event which did delight the participants, exhibitors and delegates with its persona and character.

    Dear business partners and friends,

    it was a great pleasure to meet all of you this year again during CeBIT, the digital marketplace at the home of GIBC!

    The Consul General of India, Mrs. M. Subashini, gave us the honor of a visit to the GIBC stand.
    With Vipin Kumar a contract as new representative of GIBC in Chennai was completed.
    Furthermore Technopark Trivandrum and Infopark Cochi signed MoUs with GIBC to strengthen mutual cooperation.
    Last but not least, numerous Indian and German business partners were guest at the GIBC INDIA DAY dinner with lots of fruitfull conversation.
    We thank all of you who contributed to make CeBIT 2011 an unforgettable Indo-German business highlight and we are looking forward to seeing you in Hannover again.

07.10.2010 - Indo-German Suppliers Day at IZB at Wolfsburg

  • From 6th to 8th October 2010, the IZB, the major gathering for the automotive supplier industry took place again in Wolfsburg.

    There was a German-Indian workshop at IZB organized by GIRT Berlin and UFB.B GmbH and supported by Volkswagen AG, Wolfsburg-AG and Industrieclub Hannover.

    German and Indian small and medium sized suppliers were invited to take part in a workshop during the Indo-German Suppliers Day on 7th Oktober 2010.

GIBC's MoU partner ESC at Electronica 2008 in Munich, Germany from 11 to 14 November 2008

  • In order to enable the Indian electronics and components manufacturers / exporters and EMS / ODM service providers to expose their respective capability profile to the global market, ESC was repeating Indian participation in Electronica 2008 in Munich, Germany from 11 to 14 November 2008.

    ESC is India's premier export promotion organisation sponsored by Government of India. The main objective is to promote the Electronics and Information Technology exports from India to the global market. With more than 2,300 members, ESC has transformed itself into a dynamic, proactive institution equipped to meet the aspirations of Indian IT industry in this fast changing technological world.

    Since 2007 ESC and GIBC are holding a MoU to promote collaboration in India and Niedersachsen.

  • Under the slogan "connecting car competence", the IZB has become an international platform for automotive competence where the entire spectrum of innovative and valuable networking opportunities is provided to suppliers to the automotive industry.
    A large number of leading national and international suppliers meet at the trade fair and take advantage of this unique communication platform in order to establish business links with representatives from Volkswagen AG, suppliers from Germany and abroad as well as other automobile manufacturers.
    At the IZB, an additional programme of events was offered including presentations as well as the “Indian-German Automotive Congress" where leading speakers and panellists take part, providing up-to-date knowledge on topics revolving around the Indian automotive market.
    India - where the emerging economic power has an exciting future and promising growth potential for the global automotive industry - was the partner country and focal point of the IZB 2008.
    GIBC took part in the izb as a visitor to get into contact with the Indian exhibitors.

Indo-German Colloquium at CeBIT 2007



  • The hon'ble Minister of Information Technology of Govt of West Bengal, Prof. Dr. Debesh Das, the Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Economics of Lower Saxony, Mr. Joachim Werren, as well as more than 70 other invited guests enjoyed the Indo-German colloquium on March 16th at CEBIT.
    The colloquium was organized by the GIRT Hannover (German-Indian Round Table), Hannoverimpuls and the Hannover IT Group (HIT).
    The agenda provided interesting presentations, e.g. an experience-report of the cooperation of Sonata and TUI-Infotec, delivered by Heinz Kreuzer, the CIO of TUI, which you will find in the download area.
